New Jersey. June 22, 1756. Six Shillings. No.871(?). Plate B. Signed by John Smyth, Hugh Hartshorne and A. Johnston. Printed on slightly thick paper, standard designs with face and back in black, by James Parker. A scarce denomination on this act, not seen in high grades. Good to Very Good, a solid note, but with honest wear. A few minor nicks, but overall decent looking; Same Series. Thirty Shillings. No.256. Plate B. Signed by Hugh Hartshorne, John Smyth, and A. Johnston. Printed on thick paper, standard designs with face and back in black and red, by James Parker. Good, split vertically, held together on the back with three hinges; Same Series. Three Pounds. No.513. Plate A. Signed by Hugh Hartshorne, John Smyth, and A. Johnston. Printed on thick paper, standard designs with face and back in black and red, by James Parker. For the issue, above average. Fine plus, not split on the vertical, but with typical soiling. Some corner rounding and an ink spot on the back. 3 pieces.
