Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware. March 1, 1758. Twenty Shillings....Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware. March 1, 1758. Twenty Shillings. No.11. Signed by David Hall, Wm. Armstrong, and Tho.(mas) Clark. Printed on thick paper by B.(enjamin) Franklin and D.(avid) Hall, their imprint on the back. Seal and motto as used on earlier series. Four crowns security device. The back with lion motif and leaf assortment. A great, low serial number, that should entice the Franklin note enthusiast! Fine plus. The heavy crease is broken and sewn with fine thread of the era; this is barely visible. some minor side splits. A stain at the right end (shows on the back also), rounded corners and a back mounting remnant. Pencil notation at the top back center. Excellent grade for this type and a super serial number.
