Signed by Benj.(amin) Payne, George Wyllys and (faded). Assembly at Hartford. Imprint similar to March 8, 1764, 'New-London, Printed by Timothy Green MDCCLXX'. The highest denomination for the issue and also a rarity. A crisp note which still shows some embossing. Very Fine, a horizontal fold with a partial split at the right. Some minor foxing and a rust stain at the upper left shows through to the back. Black ink notation ''£2:2-0'' at the back bottom. Probably one of the higher grade notes known on the rare denominations of this series.
