Significant lustre is especially bold around the reliefs and across the lower obverse, 'C' is high and its tip is lost in the arrow feather. The obverse shows an advanced die crack from rim to bust point, heralding the severe die break that came not long after the striking of this coin. Here is an exciting grade for a date given an average grade of Choice Very Fine assigned by Akers. NGC AU55.
