Rich mustard-yellow toning bathes surfaces that retain a significant amount of mint lustre despite even circulation wear. Design motifs are crisply struck and very strongly defined, while the rims are a trifle soft, as is usual for this type. No major marks or other detractions are noted that would somehow affect the value of this very rare one-year only design. Designed by John Reich and struck to the tune of just 2,710 pieces. Here is a perfect, exquisite example in every way for the type or date set collector.
