For Safety of Ships and People, fishing fleet flees home from threatened British attack, warned by Jacobus van der Wint. Rev. 13-line inscription. When the Netherlands joined the League of Armed Neutrality in the American Revolution, Britain declared war, seizing 200 Dutch merchant ships, a 15 million Gulden loss. Wint's exertions saved the fishing fleet from a similar fate.
