Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware. February 28, 1746. Twenty Shillings. No.20808. Plate ''A''. Signed by Wm. Armstrong (faint, looks like Clowes), and Hugh Durborrow. Printed on thin paper by B.(enjamin) Franklin. Square seal with motto engraved by Thomas Leech. Four crowns security device. The back with nature print, lion and parsley leaf motif with Franklin imprint. Fine for the issue, the horizontal split is taped on the back with hinge tape and the note is rather trimmed at the left. Clear text and printing on both sides (the 'B. Franklin' is complete) and probably one of the choicer examples known on the emission.
