Avec le Reglement pour ladite Banque. Paris. 1716. Small quarto, 20.0cm by 27.0cm. 16 pages. Printed on laid paper in French. Printed cover with Royal Seal. Engraved vignette on page (2) at the top of the Act text dated May 2, 1716. Page 9 with details of the note's designs and embossed seal placed at the bottom. The Act is in two sections within the pamphlet. A very important pamphlet and the first we have seen or handled. This was obtained by Mr. Ford at an autograph auction over 25 years ago and has been off the market since. The Act sets up the bank and specifies the designs of the notes on page 9 as mentioned. The condition is Choice Very Fine with natural deckling to the edges as characteristic to the paper type. Penciled pedigree at the upper right corner of the back cover. An essential item for the collector of John Law notes.
