Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware. June 1, 1759. Fifteen Shillings....Government of the Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex upon Delaware. June 1, 1759. Fifteen Shillings. No.91726. Signed by Wm. Armstrong, John Barns, and David Hall. Printed on moderately thick paper by B.(enjamin) Franklin and D.(avid) Hall, their imprint on the back. Seal and motto as earlier series, the seal orientation is horizontal. Three crowns security device. Back horse motif at the bottom. Close to Extremely Fine, with the horizontal crease visible from the back and not broken. Very strong printing quality and well margined on the face. There are three pesky worm holes at the upper right and a nicked upper left corner. However, this certainly is one of the finer examples we have ever seen of this note. Though not in the league of the condition of the 10 Shillings above or the Twenty Shillings to follow, a very worthy candidate for a top notch collection.
