Treasury of Virginia. May 4, 1778 Act. Ten Dollars. No.1332. Signed by L. Wood and Wray. Printed on heavy rag paper with blue fibers. Standard smaller format size, approximately 95mm by 65mm for the pair. Uniface, standard styles and designs. Virginia tramples tyranny, motto SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS. Face plate letter 'cc' upper left. This issue saw the motto corrected on the border cut. Printed on two paper types, both thick and thin. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Vertical fold, lower left long diagonal corner fold and handling. Typical, fairly weak plate state;

Ten Dollars. No.1464. Signed by Wood and Wray. Printed laid paper. Standard smaller format size, approximately 95mm by 65mm for the pair. Uniface, standard styles and designs as last. Face plate letter 'fi' upper left. The thin paper issue, more brittle than last and tough in high grades because of this. Very Fine. A few light folds, but the lower right is fairly rough with tears into bottom edge and right end. Boyd pencil code, ''iyx'' at back lower left corner. 2 pieces.
