Treasury of Virginia. May 4, 1778 Act (Handwritten Dates). Six Dollars. No.31. Signed by Wood and...Treasury of Virginia. May 4, 1778 Act (Handwritten Dates). Six Dollars. No.31. Signed by Wood and Wray. Printed on heavy rag paper with blue fibers. Standard smaller format size, approximately 105mm by 70mm. Uniface, standard styles and designs. Virginia tramples tyranny, motto SIC SEMPER TYRANNUS. These are scarcer than the engraved May 4, 1778 dates in general and when encountered, are rather low grade. A slightly handled note and top grade and rare as such for the issue. Choice Extremely Fine. Vertical fold and bent corners.
