Printed on thick, coarse stock. Standard size, approximately 110mm by 75mm. Standard face style using border cuts with denominations, vignette seal and motto at the lower left. Ornamental printed back, denomination and imprint Printed by Peter Timothy, 1777. There were 13,000 printed, most known being remainder notes cut from sheets. Only three signatures, but appears to be a circulated note. Very Fine Plus. Period inflicted crease, corner fold, and perimeter handling. Still fairly bright and modestly soiled. Faint Raymond pencil code on the back.

In Newman, it states five signatures were required for an issued note. However, for a low denomination like One Dollar, that seems impractical (currency note signers were important officials, with more pressing business, you would think?). This is likely a fully issued bill. It has seen circulation and not collector mishandling. There is no evidence of faint signatures at the left.
