Maryland. April 10, 1774. One Third of a Dollar or One Shilling Six Pence Sterling. No.22641. Signed by W.[illiam] Eddis and J.[ohn] Clapham. Printed on sturdy stock. Size and style as previous issue dates. Imprint 'Printed by A.C. and F. Green'. A very sharp note. Crisp Uncirculated. Light handling, complete and even margins. Two pinholes in the bottom field. Faint upper back corner pencil code by Raymond or Chapman;
Two Thirds of a Dollar or Three Shillings Sterling. No.2827. Signed by Clapham and Eddis. Choice Extremely Fine. No creases, but heavy handling and heavy green paper remnants at the back left edge. The face with exceptional margins and vivid with the look of a ''new'' note. Might be from the famous circa 1922 ''Stan V. Henkels Sale'' due to the type of remnants present on the back;
Half a Dollar of Two Shillings Three Pence Sterling. No.10547. Signed by Eddis and Clapham. About Uncirculated. Not folded, but heavy handling on the corners with the bottom left rounded in. Cut closely. Light Raymond code upper right back corner. All three notes with reflecting mica flecks. This evenly matched trio is choice quality for the issue. Worth a significant premium in excess of the Extremely Fine listing in Newman's 4th edition ($90 or $85 per note). 3 pieces.
