 February 17, 1776. $1/3. Serial: 408634. Choice Uncirculated, and very nearly a full Gem but for unevenly trimmed margins. Still, the design borders are complete and in general the margins are broader than typically seen. The paper is quite bright and fresh and the note is boldly printed and embossed. A faint corner bend is noted in the wide upper left margin, but this does not affect the design. Signed by Thomas Donnellan. A superior example.
