Undated (circa 1667). St. Patrick (Mark Newbie) Farthing. Breen 208. Very Fine. Rich chocolate brown...Undated (circa 1667). St. Patrick (Mark Newbie) Farthing. Breen 208. Very Fine. Rich chocolate brown surfaces are a trifle darker on the obverse than the reverse. Legends and devices are worn into smoothness, while some trifling graininess in the fields is normal to this issue and should not bother even the most astute collector. Legends are full if a bit weak in areas to due to die and circulation wear. Brass splasher is well centered beneath the obverse crown. With the anticipated publication of a die variety listing of St. Patrick farthings, interest in this once ignored issues has matured. PCGS VF25.
