 1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 13-D. Mailed Bust Left. 108.5 gns. Fine, or better. Double struck, the first strike was about 30% off-center, and the second strike was on center. Abundant detail from the first strike remains, such as the CONNE of CONNEC and the exergual line. Surfaces are dark brown and microscopically granular, with some lighter coppery toning at the centers of both sides.
