New Hampshire 15th Volunteer Regiment Dogtag, 1862. Brass, 27.7mm, holed for suspension. Choice Extremely Fine. Inscribed to L.G. TUCKER/ Co. I/ 15TH REG./ HAVERHILL, MASS. This unit was organized at Concord in October 1862 for nine months' service and mustered out Aug. 13, 1863. It fought at Port Huron, May 27, June 14, 1863 and lost 161 men during its brief service.
