1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 33.32-Z.13. Draped Bust Left. 125.8 grains. Choice Extremely Fine in terms of wear. Lovely mahogany and chocolate brown surfaces exhibit original gloss and no post-striking porosity. As with so many Connecticuts, the strike is somewhat lacking, leaving this beautiful coin with flatly defined central devices. The '87' in the date is 90% visible, while the '17' are amorphous blobs. Here would be a charming example for the collector wanting a high grade type coin.
