1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 32.6-X.6 (Rarity-6). Draped Bust Left. 130.7 grains. Very Fine. Dark grayish brown surfaces exhibit uniform, light porosity, giving this rare variety an even and not wholly unattractive appearance. Well and evenly struck for the variety, with the usual weakness of detail in the devices. A few very thin planchet laminations on both sides. Ford's rough EF brought over $3,700, so here is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a less dear alternative!
