Die State Progression Trio of 1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 4-L. ''Horned Bust. '' The first coin is Fine and is the Early Die State with no ''horn'' break on the obverse effigy's shoulder. This coin is porous and slightly bent. The next coin in the progression exhibits the ''horn,'' but it has not yet intruded into the effigy's shoulder. This coin is Choice Very Fine with intermittent verdigris. The last coin in this progression is very similar to the previous, but the ''horn'' break has intruded into the shoulder area. This coin is Very Fine with light porosity and verdigris. 3 pieces.
