Perfectly smooth, chocolate brown surfaces do not exhibit even a hint of porosity. Yellow brass splasher was positioned at edge of coin, nearly missing the crown on the obverse. A couple of minor stains on the reverse and a slight planchet wave should be noted. With the recent surge of interest in die varieties of this series, even well worn specimens like this have been selling for over $1000 at times.
