 1799 S.189. Normal Date. Fine-15 or better details. Here is an example of this key date that has lovely chocolate brown color. The reverse is quite pleasing and is mostly smooth with just a few small patches of roughness. The obverse is more typical for the date with heavy pitting, mostly at the lower half of the coin. The date is quite clear with the '99' being exceptionally bold. All things considered, this is a somewhat affordable example with plenty of detail for the grade.
