 1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 34-J (R-3). Late Rahway or Elizabethtown Mint. 115.1 gns. About Very Fine. Apple green and dark brown patina decorates hard, lightly glossy surfaces. Clearly overstruck on Vermont copper host, reported by consignor as Ryder 24. Planchet is slightly warped, with a hit noted in the right obverse field.
