 1786 New Jersey Copper. Maris 23-P. Rahway Mint. 141.6 gns. About Very Fine. Smooth surfaces are dominated by chocolate brown hues, which darken to a rich hue toward the peripheries. Characteristic, triangular denticles are clearly visible on the obverse, less so on the reverse. A tiny rim bruise at 8:00 on the obverse is this coin's solitary flaw.
