Olive-brown with hints of ruddy-brown at the peripheries, this specimen is very sharply struck but exhibits decidedly granular surfaces. From the standpoint of sharpness, this coin is finer than the Ford coin, but the surface quality cannot compare. Here is an overall wonderful example of this very scarce Maris variety.
