 1839 Small Letters, Head of 1840. Very Fine details but the coin has been previously cleaned. Pale golden toning over moderately bagmarked surfaces. The strike is typical for this date. A die crack extends through most of the stars. Very scarce type with only 12,447 pieces struck. NCS VF Details, Improperly Cleaned.
