NEW YORK. Private Scrip Issuer, payable at the Farmers & Mechanics Bank of Rochester. Uncut and untrimmed sheet of fifteen notes. All 50¢ arranged three horizontal by five vertical. December 10, 1862. NY Arms within green frames. The bottom right position is a double denomination note with 'Twenty Five Cents' text under the arms vignette. Harris rates this an R-5 (as opposed to R-2 for other notes in the series. Ferd. Mayer. Harris H107 (14) and H108 (1). Wide right margin. Unissued and Extremely Fine due to handling. A sharp sheet, bright and vivid. The first we have handled uncut.
