1840-50's style. Imprint of Doty & Bergen, N.Y. Various period vignettes, copied from the New York City engravers of the period. Seated female, cattle roping, Indian on horse, river god etc. Filled in ''1854'' and ''Aurora, Oswego Co.'', but it looks false to us. Very Fine, mostly from rumpling. Harris does lists some Doty scrip on Aurora. |
