Georgia. 1776. Four Spanish Milled Dollars. No.5154. Blue seal with Liberty Cap, motto LIBERTAS CARIOR...Georgia. 1776. Four Spanish Milled Dollars. No.5154. Blue seal with Liberty Cap, motto LIBERTAS CARIOR AURO. Border variety (a). Three margins are tremendously broad and the indent at the left is cut in slightly at the upper left. Boldly printed and with superb blue color seal with great clarity. To be accurate there are a few tiny nicks on the top edge in the wide margin and a back hinge remnant from an ancient mounting. Never tampered with and a deeply printed impression. Not to call this Choice Extremely Fine or better is a grand injustice. Worth multiples of the paltry Newman catalogue value.
