1798 B-21 (R-4). Extremely Fine. The obverse has a wide date with a small die lump above it. The reverse shows the heraldic eagle holding ten arrows. Magnification reveals an extra ''stick'' amongst these arrows, the key diagnostic of this scarce variety. Although somewhat weakly struck, all major details are plain. The surfaces are attractive and the color gives a strong eye appeal. The central areas are steel-gray, while the peripheries, particularly on the obverse are toned in bold rainbow hues. NGC XF40.
