 1799 Tar.22, Br.5-G (R-3). Large Obverse Stars. About Uncirculated, or virtually so. All design features show bold detail, including the well-delineated hair strands, eagle feathers and shield lines. Tawny clear red-gold tones outline the devices, stars and legend, complementing this beautiful coin's orange-gold surfaces and generally flashy mint lustre. Surfaces exhibit many scattered fine marks, indicating that this piece apparently spent time jingling loosely among other coins in some long-ago storage environment.
