'C' of 'CONNEC' rests on the head, reverse shows a low '7', both high 8's overlapping the exergue line. Deep glossy brown surfaces and essentially fully round planchet distinguish this handsome coin. This remarkable coin is superior to the Perkins Fine/Very Fine example, shows a finer overall strike than the Extremely Fine specimen in the Taylor collection, and displays a substantially higher grade than the John J. Ford representative of the variety. PCGS XF40.

Lot # 4
