Smooth, flashing silver underlies smooth steel and pervasive clear gold toning, accompanied by tantalizing undercurrents of clear red-rose. This distinctive variety shows '1' and '6' touching curl and truncation, while '25' and 'C' do not touch arrows, tail or olive branch on this reverse. The strike is generally bold with a trace of weakness at the centers. This coin would place high in the Browning-Breen-Bowers Condition Census and is finer than all reported in the JRCC Census. The overall quality and wonderful visual appeal of this marvelous specimen are hard to exaggerate and as a type coin would be difficult to match.
