Medieval Coin Jewelry. Sassanian Silver Drachm of Khusrau I, 531-579 A.D. from the mint of Ramhormuz in Iran set in a Sterling Silver and 14k Gold Bezel. Grading About Very Fine, the coin depicts the Sassanian emperor's bust r. on the obverse and a Zoroastrian fire-altar flanked by attendants on the reverse. The attractive bezel is made up of a sterling silver braided ring frame with four Gold clasps and a three-ring and ball mount with a large suspension loop (stamped 14k). With certificate from the Houston Numismatic Exchange. (Est. $75-$100)
