A strike offering medallic quality dramatizes all fine detail with microscopic exactness and fidelity, including Liberty's face and the capitol building's dome, eagle's head and feet. A rich, deep yellow-gold offers the most subtle hints of green. The extruded fin of gold forming the wire rim is uncommonly sharp and clearly defined on both sides of this breath-taking beauty. By any standard of desirability, this is a coin upon which it would be hard to improve. PCGS MS64.
