Fully prooflike fields frame frosted central design motifs on this rare Mohrig issue featuring no ''CAL'' in the reverse legends. Dies are rotated about 90 degrees out of perfect coin turn. Areas around the denomination on the reverse exhibit evidence of having been struck through thread or some other foreign substance. Perhaps only one other specimen of this variety has been offered recently, that being the Roe specimen.
