1723 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny. Brilliant Uncirculated, close to Choice. Deeply reflective glossy brown surfaces enhance a meticulous obverse strike, with its sharp-nosed head of George I. Reverse center displays somewhat less definition in the folds of Hibernia's draperies. A glass finds mild porosity in William Wood's complex alloy but the overall visual quality of this charming coin must be seen to be fully appreciated. NGC MS62BN.
