 George II Indian Medal, n.d. (ca. 1727-60). Unsigned. Jamieson figure 5, Betts 167. Brass. 24.4mm. 51.7 gns. Bust left; archer in chase across a clearing looses his arrow against a stag who runs beneath a tree. No loop, edge broken away there. Sharpness of Extremely Fine. Good brassy brown color, minor surface granularity. A worthwhile piece despite the serious break.
