1795 B.5. Three Leaves Below Each Wing. Choice Very Fine. A simply delightful example of this common die variety and popular type coin. The color is light silver-gray, with darker accents highlighting the reverse devices. No signs of adjustment marks or rim bumps, and close examination will discover no distractions worthy of note. For identification there is a minute nick on the eagle's neck and a shallow planchet chip out of the field between the ribbon ends on the reverse. For the grade, the present example is clearly in the top ten percent of those offered, and this is a coin that the most demanding collector will appreciate for the surfaces, color and eye appeal.
