1795 B.4 (R-3). Extremely Fine, but lightly cleaned. The surfaces have been cleaned and retoned to a light silver color with darker gold on the high points and outlining the devices. Boldly struck as usually seen, with cascading curls on Liberty that show little evidence of circulation. On the reverse the eagle's wing feathers are clear save for a few that show wear. Minor adjustment marks are found below the ribbon, a few of which extend to the eagle's chest and wings. A minor rim scrape is present above 'ST' of STATES. Always popular as a variety and type issue.
