1833 B.1. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated, and approaching Gem. Mirror prooflike fields as seen on the early die states of this pairing, struck before the obverse die rusted in the left field, although the reverse has a trace of die rust above the top arrow. Tawny gold toning over silver surfaces. The strike is sharp on Liberty's curls, but the first couple of stars lack their central lines. Long arrows with the bottom two extending to the denticles, and three stripes form the vertical shield lines. A shallow scratch in the left reverse field and a couple of dull nicks near the eagle's head nudge this one back from a higher grade. An excellent collector coin for the visual appeal and surface quality.
