1856 N.6. Upright 5. Mint State-65. Red but starting to fade to brown on both sides. An early die state and well preserved, with minimal signs of handling. The diagnostic die lumps on Liberty's face are present, and it appears the serif of an additional '1' protrudes from the forward truncation of Liberty's neck, and the die file lines are present above OF. Strong visual appeal for a Large Cent, as most have faded to tan or brown long ago. A couple of minute carbon specks are present above Liberty's head, and this coin is identifiable by a microscopic tick on the left side of the 'O' in ONE.
