1801 Tar.25, Br.2-B. Choice About Uncirculated. This obverse displays the New stars placed far from curl but close to the back of Liberty's Cap. Boldly struck with only a whisper of wear to be sought out on the deep yellow-gold surfaces. The obverse field bears a scattering of bag marks, none of serious visual importance. The reverse field shows profound flash, and under magnification reveals a shallow rim bruise at 6:00. A coin of boldly reflective, tawny gold appeal.
