 1908 Choice Matte Proof. A few minor tics can be seen from some slight mishandling. The matte surfaces are intact but for a few shiny spots on the reverse. The strike is excellent and allows the glory of Bela Lyon Pratt's design to shine through. One of only 167 proofs struck from this first year of issue.
