 1839'O' Choice About Uncirculated and very close to higher grade. A bold strike is highlighted by rich gold lustre, as very few trivial marks can be found with sufficient effort. With only 17,781 struck, this date is the second lowest New Orleans mintage of any Quarter Eagle type, and is most often found in the Very Fine-Extremely Fine range.
