1919'S' Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated, and ever so close to Gem. A vibrant and lustrous coin that boasts a sharp strike on the obverse, the reverse more typical with minor softness on the bison's head, but the horn is completely defined. One trivial graze on the Indian's cheek from a higher grade, and a tiny carbon fleck is found left of the date. San Francisco coinage of this period is often poorly struck up, and locating a coin that has crisp lettering and strong device detail like the present one can be a challenge. Few were saved from the time of issue, and collector demand continues to grow for such quality.
