 1917'D' Mintmark on Reverse. Brilliant Uncirculated. At first glance this coin has the appearance of Gem quality, but the surfaces have been gently cleaned in the past which weakened the lustre a tad on the high points of the design. On the obverse there is evidence that this coin went through a counting machine which left telltale disturbances just inside the rim from above Liberty's head to the 4:00 position. Decent eye appeal for this scarcer issue.
