This exceptionally smooth, pale lavender-golden specimen offers an absolutely outstanding ''arm's length'' presentation. Only very close obverse scrutiny indicates otherwise. Well struck, satiny, and quite rare nonetheless.

Ex George F. Scanlon Collection (Stack's, October 24-27, 1973, lot 1575); earlier from the R.L. Miles, Jr. Collection (Stack's, April 10-12, 1969, lot 1420).

Lot # 1328 Session 1
