Well struck, though not quite as sharp as the Proof offered in the prior lot as there is a trivial degree of reverse softness at the eagle's head, and at the juncture of the shield and right wing. This scarce date enjoys one of the lowest circulation strike mintages (only 390,000 pieces) in the entire Barber Half Dollar series.
