 1892 Very Choice Brilliant Proof. Liquid-mirror fields contrast nicely against chisel-sharp, frosted legends and design elements. Waves of pastel-blue, lavender, and emerald-golden peripheral iridescence wonderfully enliven the surfaces on either side. There is a light obverse line or two at Liberty's jaw, otherwise we would not hesitate to call this lovely coin a full Gem. Of the 1245 proofs coined of this date, only a small percentage of the survivors can claim visual appeal that equals or surpasses that of the exceptional coin offered here.
